Tim Adam Donnelly is a Brooklyn-based freelance journalist, editor, researcher, wordplay professional and co-founder of The New York Groove.

He has covered suburban Maryland for The Bowie Star, the Lowcountry of South Carolina for The Island Packet and everything NYC for The New York Post. He was editor of the website Brokelyn for many years, and his writing has been featured in Vice, The Village Voice, Inc., The Atlantic, Streetsblog, Eater, Lifehacker, the Brooklyn Eagle, The Outline, BrickUnderground, Curbed, Hell Gate and elsewhere. 

He's also worked as a researcher on several projects, including viral sensation HQ Trivia and the Comedy Central political satire The President Show. He cohosts the monthly wordplay variety show Vocabaret, which is beloved by dads worldwide.
